Ideas include artwork, trips, jewelry, horse equipment, gift baskets, etc. Maybe you have a horse trailer that you are no longer using? We are glad for any help.

I have loved horses for as long as I can remember. Duke was my last horse and we were together 13 years. I lost him to complications of PPID (Cushings) Aug. 2024. He left a huge hole, not only in my heart, but also in my life. I was in search of something I could do to stay involved with horses and perhaps help them in some way. Omega was my answer. I began processing adoption applications in Oct. 2024 and have to date processed 23. Unfortunately not all ended in adoption but when I see one of "my" horses posted on Omega 's site, enjoying a new life it makes my heart smile!

Omega Horse Rescue adopts to those that reside in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and areas of New York and Virginia within 5 hours of Airville, PA.

Horses cannot be sold or rehomed. In the event you no longer want or can't care for the horse it must be returned to us. Omega Horse Rescue retains full legal ownership of every equine placed.

How To Help
Caring for horses is an incredibly rewarding experience but it’s also financially demanding. The costs of caring for more than 100 horses a year is staggering. As a non-profit organization, Omega Horse Rescue relies entirely on private donations to operate. There are several ways you can help.

By donating through PayPal, your monetary donations allow us to apply monies directly towards the care of the horses at the rescue or new horses in need. If you donate through PayPal please choose to SEND TO SOMEONE YOU TRUST. That way fees are not taken on your donation. Omega Horse Rescue is grateful for donations of any amount, from individuals, families, groups or businesses.
